This year the Medicine Hat Concert Band Society is putting on its 40th season\, and we want you to join us as we celebrate the only way we know how\, with a great concert on the Esplanade stage! Join the Allegro and Andante bands as we present a concert full of band classics\, modern works\, and pieces that will inspire the future of music making in our city. This performance will feature the world premiere of a new piece by Winnipeg-based composer Peter Meechan. The piece\, commissioned by the MHCBS\, is being written in tribute to our founding director\, Bill Wahl\, in memory of his decades of service to music making in Medicine Hat. It’s going to be a night you won’t want to miss as we look back on our history\, look ahead to the future\, and enjoy the now.
