This 50-minute work draws listeners into Abrahamsen’s crystalline sound world\, where the unique beauty of snow is reflected in both serene and explosive musical textures. \nComplementing Schnee\, the evening will feature world premieres by internationally celebrated composer Linda Catlin Smith\, as well as Black Ice\, a brand new composition by NMC’s Composer-in-Residence\, Rashaan Allwood.
