Diana spent time in Banff throughout her life\, with deep appreciation for the Rocky Mountains. As a Banff-based pianist\, I met Diana on several occasions\, and had the opportunity to study her original scores at the University of Manitoba Archives. This\, and my intention to connect with Winnipeg artists Ben Reimer and Laurel Ridd who had worked closely with Diana\, led to this program of pieces for percussion\, flute and solo piano including Diana’s delightful Aiby-Aicy-Aidyai for toy piano and vocal sounds.”
