Carmen Braden celebrates WCMA nomination

Braden was composing a piece for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra when her manager Debbie Peters contacted her with the news: Magnetic North, a work for violin+piano from her debut album Ravens, has been nominated for the Western Canadian Music Awards Classical Composition of the Year.
